All-Star Interest Forms
Do you want to play All-Stars? Players in the Minors, Majors, Intermediate, or Juniors divisions who are interested in being considered for an All-Star team
must submit their interest form
by May 14!
All-Stars is postseason tournament play in which new teams consisting of players with exceptional skill-level are created. It involves an extreme commitment from players and families as practice and game schedules can be rigorous and play is extremely competitive. Playing All-Stars is completely optional and families should give serious consideration as to whether All-Stars is right for them.
Possible teams include 8- to 10-Year-Old Baseball & Softball Division, 9- to 11-Year-Old Baseball & Softball Division, Little League (Major) Baseball & Softball Division, Intermediate (50-70) Baseball Division, Junior Baseball Division, and Senior Baseball Division.
Players in these divisions who would like to be considered for an All-Star team must complete the interest form, linked below, by May 14. There are no guarantees a player will be selected to a tournament team.
EMLL allows players and coaches in each division to vote for All-Star candidates; Umpires or board members who have sufficiently observed the players in each division may also vote.
Once the teams are created, they’ll play in the District 5 tournament. The District 5 tournament will start in mid-to-late June depending on division. The district tournament generally lasts about a week, but follows a double-elimination format, so once a team loses two games, it is eliminated.
The winner of the district tournament will advance to the state tournament, which will also last about a week and may involve extensive travel depending on where it’s held. The winner of the state tournament in the Majors, Intermediate, Junior and Senior divisions advance to regional tournaments, some of which are held out-of-state. The winner of regionals advances to Little League World Series tournaments.
